QUINCEAÑERAS
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

1. Fees: The fees for a Quinceañera are $250.00 for parishioners who are registered and active for at least one year prior to the scheduling of the Quinceañera. For those not registered at Our Lady of Guadalupe, permission from the parish where you are registered is required along with proof of 1st Communion and enrollment in a Confirmation program. The fee for those registered at another parish is $350.00. All fees are due in full on the day of scheduling and must be scheduled 6 months prior to the date of the Quineañera. PLEASE NOTE: We do not refund any fees paid for a Quinceañera. A Quinceañera may be rescheduled, but there are no refunds. ADDITIONAL NOTE: The only available time slot for a Quinceañeras is on a Saturday at 10:00 am or 12:00 noon as available. Quinceañeras are NOT available on Fridays and are not scheduled during
Advent or Lent.
2. A Quinceañera preparation program is required and is available at www.catholicquinceprep.com and must be completed within a reasonable amount of time before the date of the celebration. A certificate of attendance must be turned in to the parish office as soon as possible. PLEASE NOTE: There is an additional fee for this online class that must be paid directly to them to start the program. This fee is not associated with other fees due to the church.
3. The Quinceañera is required to celebrate the sacrament of reconciliation (confession) one week prior to the celebration along with anyone in the court who may receive communion.
4. A Liturgy Practice will be scheduled with the celebrant and coordinated with the parish office. Everyone must attend the practice.
5. The Quinceañera and her court must arrive at the church at least one half hour before the celebration. Failure to do so may result in the cancelation of the celebration.
6. Dress code: Modest dress is required for the Quinceañera and her court. No strapless, backless or spaghetti strap dresses – these must be covered up with a shawl or jacket. Low cut dresses are not allowed and short dresses may not be above the knee. PLEASE remember that you are in a church and it is necessary to maintain reverence and respect for the altar and the presence of the Eucharist.
7. Music: Musicians must be familiar with the celebration rite in the Catholic Church and should select music that is appropriate and suitable.
8. Decorations: Tacks, staples, glue, nails and tape are not allowed on the pews or walls. Flowers are allowed but not on the altar of sacrifice. Parish floral arrangements may not be removed. An aisle runner is not allowed for safety reasons.
9. Photography: The photographer must have respect for the church. They may not stand on pews or chairs and are not allowed to walk around during the celebration.
10. You agree to vacate the church 30 minutes after the celebration has ended. This allows preparation time for the next scheduled event. By signing below you acknowledge and agree to the requirements stated above. Once again you are reminded that there are NO REFUNDS of any fees paid.

1. Tarifas: Las tarifas para una Quinceañera son de $250.00 para los feligreses que estén registrados y activos durante al menos un año antes de la programación de la Quinceañera. Para aquellos que no están registrados en Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, se requiere el permiso de la parroquia donde están registrados junto con el comprobante de la Primera Comunión y la inscripción en un programa de Confirmación. La tarifa para aquellos registrados en otra parroquia es de $350.00. Todas las tarifas deben pagarse en su totalidad el día de la programación y deben programarse 6 meses antes de la fecha de la Quinceañera. TENGA EN CUENTA: No reembolsamos ninguna tarifa pagada por una Quinceañera. Una Quinceañera puede reprogramarse, pero no hay reembolsos. NOTA ADICIONAL: El único horario disponible para una Quinceañera es un sábado a las 10:00 a. m. o al mediodía, según disponibilidad. Las quinceañeras NO están disponibles los viernes y no están programadas durante el
Adviento o la Cuaresma.
2. Se requiere un programa de preparación para la quinceañera, que está disponible en www.catholicquinceprep.com y debe completarse dentro de un período de tiempo razonable antes de la fecha de la celebración. Se debe entregar un certificado de asistencia a la oficina parroquial lo antes posible. TENGA EN CUENTA: Hay una tarifa adicional para esta clase en línea que debe pagarse directamente a ellos para comenzar el programa. Esta tarifa no está asociada con otras tarifas adeudadas a la iglesia.
3. La quinceañera debe celebrar el sacramento de la reconciliación (confesión) una semana antes de la celebración junto con cualquier persona en la corte que pueda recibir la comunión.
4. Se programará una práctica de liturgia con el celebrante y se coordinará con la oficina parroquial. Todos deben asistir a la práctica.
5. La quinceañera y su corte deben llegar a la iglesia al menos media hora antes de la celebración. De no hacerlo, puede resultar en la cancelación de la celebración.
6. Código de vestimenta: Se requiere vestimenta modesta para la Quinceañera y su corte. No se permiten vestidos sin tirantes, sin espalda o con tirantes finos; estos deben cubrirse con un chal o chaqueta. No se permiten vestidos con escote bajo y los vestidos cortos no pueden estar por encima de la rodilla. POR FAVOR recuerde que está en una iglesia y es necesario mantener la reverencia y el respeto por el altar y la presencia de la Eucaristía.
7. Música: Los músicos deben estar familiarizados con el rito de celebración en la Iglesia Católica y deben seleccionar música que sea apropiada y adecuada.
8. Decoraciones: No se permiten tachuelas, grapas, pegamento, clavos ni cinta adhesiva en los bancos o las paredes. Se permiten flores, pero no en el altar del sacrificio. No se pueden quitar los arreglos florales de la parroquia. No se permite un corredor de pasillo por razones de seguridad.
9. Fotografía: El fotógrafo debe tener respeto por la iglesia. No puede pararse en los bancos o sillas y no se le permite caminar durante la celebración.
10. Usted acepta desalojar la iglesia 30 minutos después de que haya terminado la celebración. Esto permite tiempo de preparación para el próximo evento programado. Al firmar a continuación, usted reconoce y acepta los requisitos establecidos anteriormente. Una vez más, se le recuerda que NO HAY REEMBOLSOS de las tarifas pagadas.
