Catechism
Faith Formation Classes (Religious Education) are usually held on Sundays from 10:45 am to 11:45 am. Attendance at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass is required.
Registration for the 2025-2026 catechetical year will be underway in a matter of weeks.

Order of Christian Initiation
Adult Faith Formation Classes (Order of Christian Initiation) are usually held on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
These classes are for adults who have never been baptized, have been baptized in another religion of Christian denomination, were baptized in the Catholic Church but have not received their First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation.

OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE FAITH FORMATION 2026 CALENDAR
January 11 High School Confirmation-9am-12pm (parish hall/dining room) Elementary & Middle School-9:30am-12pm. We will attend at 9:30am Mass-immediately after the mass continue class at parish hall.
January 13 OCIA-6:30 to 8:30pm (Parish Hall dining room and St. Rose room)
January 18 No faith formation classes. Martin Luther King weekend holiday.
January 18 Candidates and Godparents please arrive at Our Lady of Guadalupe
Church in the gathering space to rehearse what you will be doing during the Mass. Godparents bring the bible you purchased for the candidate to the Mass. The Presentation of the Bible Rite and the Rite of Signing will be held during the 9:30am Mass. Godparents (sponsors) for Confirmation must be present at this Mass.

February 20 High School Confirmation youth will lead Stations of the Cross. Candidates should arrive at the church at 6pm.
February 22 High School Confirmation-9am-12pm (parish hall/dining room) Elementary & Middle School-9:30am-12pm. We will attend at 9:30am Mass-immediately after the mass continue class at parish hall.

March 6-8 Mandatory Confirmation High School Retreat. We leave on Friday from the St. Therese Parish Hall parking lot at 3pm and return at 1pm on Sunday. Parents are asked to meet the youth on Sunday in the gym at 1:30pm at St. Therese.. The youth will talk about their experience at the retreat.
March 8 Elementary & Middle School-9:30am-12pm. We will attend at 9:30am Mass-immediately after the mass continue class at parish hall.
March 10 OCIA-6:30 to 8:30pm (Parish Hall dining room and St. Rose room)
March 14 Mandatory Eucharist (1st Communion) Parent Session for both St. Therese and Our Lady of Guadalupe for parents who have children in their 2nd year faith formation classes and are 3rd grade and through High School. The session will be held at the St. Therese Parish Hall from 9am 12noon. We would appreciate it if you would bring something to share with the group for snacks.
March 15 High School Confirmation-9am-12pm (parish hall/dining room) Elementary & Middle School-9:30am-12pm. We will attend at 9:30am Mass-immediately after the mass continue class at parish hall.
March 17 OCIA-6:30 to 8:30pm (Parish Hall dining room and St. Rose room)
March 21 High School candidates will prepare 1000 lunches for the Homeless at the St. Therese parish hall at 1pm. The event is Sponsored by God’s Misfits.
March 22 High School Confirmation-9am-12pm (parish hall/dining room) Elementary & Middle School-9:30am-12pm. We will attend at 9:30am Mass-immediately after the mass continue class at parish hall.
March 24 OCIA-6:30 to 8:30pm (Parish Hall dining room and St. Rose room)
March 29 High School Confirmation-9am-12pm (parish hall/dining room) Elementary & Middle School-9:30am-12pm. We will attend at 9:30am Mass-immediately after the mass continue class at parish hall. Palm Sunday. High School candidates will hand out palms.
March 31 OCIA-6:30 to 8:30pm (Parish Hall dining room and St. Rose room)
April 4 Easter Vigil. Youth who will be baptized will have rehearsal at 10am. More information will be given at rehearsal as to what time you must Be at the church in the evening. Sacraments of Initiation will be Celebrated at Easter Vigil mass.
April 5 Easter Sunday. No faith formation classes.
April 7 OCIA-6:30 to 8:30pm (Parish Hall dining room and St. Rose room)
April 12 High School Confirmation-9am-12pm (parish hall/dining room) Elementary & Middle School-9:30am-12pm. We will attend at 9:30am Mass-immediately after the mass continue class at parish hall.
April 19 High School Confirmation-9am-12pm (parish hall/dining room) Elementary & Middle School-9:30am-12pm. We will attend at 9:30am Mass-immediately after the mass continue class at parish hall.
April 26 Last Day of classes for all grades including Confirmation. All youth attend 9:30am Mass then meet in the dining room. Second year Confirmation candidates will do presentations. End of the year party.
May 3 First Holy Communion in English at 9:30am Mass. Rehearsal May 2 from 11am-12pm First Holy Communion in Spanish at 12:00pm Mass. Rehearsal May 2 from 1pm-2pm.
All events listed on the calendar are subject to change. You will be notified as soon as possible if changes must be made.
